Where is God in my pain?
That question led me on a journey of uncovering all the trauma of my childhood. I discovered that writing stories helped me find answers to some of the hardest questions, and in turn began helping others do the same. Writing novels turned into teaching about how to heal the pain of abuse, betrayal, fear, anxiety, depression and how to move forward from those things. Now, my passion is to give others the resources to grow through these things. I'm glad you found me here, and I hope you find something to encourage you along the way!
We all need a place to say out loud the secrets we've kept buried, sometimes for years. I found that safe place for myself when I needed it, then I pledged my life to providing that space for others like me. My stories have opened the door for women to bring their stories fully into the light, so they can heal. If you want a little taste of what I offer, you can click below for a seven day journaling guide. My gift to you!
A village ruled by the blood stained purging post.
A woman with secrets of suffering and shame.
A stranger with kindness in his eyes and compassion in his voice.
This book was absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone, especially those who have been deeply hurt by others. The way this story brings perspective and depth to the power of the Gospel for the wounded is incredibly beautiful. This book touched my life and I know it will others too. Thank you Shannon for listening to God and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide this special story.

I once believed that God had a
grand table where many where invited to sit,
but I was not one of them.

Then God showed me the place He had reserved for me at
that table. Once I experienced the healing joy found there,
I knew I had to find others and invite them.
That's why I created Table Talk!
