A Lot Of Good Can Happen When
I once believed that God had a grand table where many where invited to sit, but I was not one of them.
This belief was rooted in past trauma that I carried around in my soul. As I opened my past up to healing, God showed me that there had always been a seat at that table just for me. I took my seat and found everything I needed for freedom from my past. I then determined I must find other women who needed an invitation to come to this table. Table Talk was created out of my desire to give women a safe place to gather, share their stories and find healing. Today, women gather in homes, churches, coffee shops, and online to explore their stories together and find hope for the future. Consider this my personal invitation to you. There is a seat at this grand table just for you! Join us and discover the bounty of hope found when we gather at the table.
"Table Talk helped me see that I needed to be replanted in good soil. The soil that only Jesus can till. I needed to be fed by His word. I needed to become vulnerable so that I can grow into whatever beautiful plant He needed me to be and I thank God for the lessons. No more trying to grow through hard ground that can't bear fruit. I said Yes and now I'm bearing real fruit." - Pamela

What Is Unique About Table Talk?
Often, when we find ourselves in pain from past or present circumstances, our inclination is to isolate ourselves. This makes us susceptible to the lie that we are alone in our story, and no one could understand our pain. To experience the wholeness Jesus offers us, we need intimate relationship with Him, and authentic community with others. Table Talk combines both, so that women are leaning into each other and Jesus in the process of healing. As we build friendships around the truth of our stories, we defeat the lie that we are alone. Through our nine weekly discussions, women practice sharing their stories with each other and finding common ground. Through the daily journaling guide, women practice sharing their story with Jesus so that they can grow in confidence of who Jesus is to them personally. Through the Table Talk journey, wounds are healed, relationships blossom, and women find the freedom to tell their stories and bring hope to others. |
When I signed up for Table Talk this past year, I did not know what to expect. What I can tell you is that God had a great experience in store for me. I was able to dive deeper into feelings and emotions that had been suppressed for many years due to an addiction. There were a lot of things I just didn’t want to face. I realized there was more to my story than just the addiction. Not only have I’ve been able to forgive myself, I have also been able to tackle other issues in my life. I still struggle with some of these and this will be good for the next Table Talk. Not only have I been able to grow closer to God through this experience, I have gained a circle of friends that I know will be forever friends.
